Fall 2013 - 2014

Culture Club in concert with parents and teachers, provides cultural enrichment and academic support through a program of hands on learning activities that reinforce and build both classroom and life skills.

The following programs are available to members and their families:

Culture Club: Daily until 6:00PM

Early Dismissal Club: 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM on early dismissal days

School Holiday Club: 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM on school holidays

Culture Club Workshop Series: A full day (Summer & Spring Break) craft based program which builds on and reinforces classroom skills

In addition to our in house programs, Culture Club members perform regular, supervised, volunteer activities such as visiting Senior Citizen Centers, making soup for area homeless shelters and helping Senior Citizens with yard work. We take walking and city bus field trips to libraries, museums, the theater, garage sales and parks. We also maintain a garden plot.

Culture Club membership is open to all children ages 5 - 15 (4 with an accompanying sibling)

Programs are available on daily or monthly basis with fees ranging from $10.00 per class - $189.00 per month when school is in session. We follow the Champaign Unit 4 and Urbana Unit 116 schedules for early dismissals and school holidays.

There are a limited number of transportation slots.

Family Fun Night: Families join the fun at 7:30PM on the last Saturday of each month (except holidays). Come and play board games, work puzzles, eat snacks and have fun!

Culture Club is sponsored by the Church of the Brethren
